What this ritual is for
A clearing of the energy body from crown to feet, for when you feel clogged, foggy or not quite yourself.
The body has channels the way a house has pipes, and they silt up. Too many people's moods, too much screen light, an illness, a long stretch of worry. When the channels are thick with it you feel heavy for no reason you can name.
I read where the silt sits first: the head, the throat, the heart, the belly, the feet. Then I clear each place in turn with natron water, a white candle, and the sweeping herbs, working downward so that what is loosened has somewhere to go. I finish by sealing the crown and the feet so that the clearing holds.
Many people describe this one afterward as lightness and a long sleep. I tell you in my letter which places were thickest, because that usually tells you where the weight came from.
