A healing rite for a body that is ill, hurting or slow to recover, worked alongside the care you already have.

I work a green candle with rosemary and myrrh over your name, set a bowl of water with a little honey, and say the healing words my grandmother used over me when I was a child in Luxor. I ask for strength to reach you and for rest to find you.
