What this ritual is for
For the person who wronged you and walked away clean: I bring what they did back to their own door.
Someone cheated you, lied about you, took what was yours or hurt someone you love, and nothing happened to them. The courts did not reach them, or you never had the chance to bring them there. This working is the answer my grandmother gave to women in Luxor who had no other.
I write what they did on paper in my own hand, with their name across it. I work it with a black candle, vinegar, nails and the returning herbs, and I speak their deeds back toward them so that what they set in motion finds its way home. I close by cutting the cord between their actions and your life.
