Three nights to call back the pieces of you that were lost to shock, grief or a hard time, and settle them home.
When something terrible happens, part of the spirit can leave to survive it. Afterward you feel it as a hollowness, a numbness, a sense of watching your own life from a little way off. You are not broken. A piece of you is simply still out there.
On the first night I read your Ka to find what left and when. On the second I go after it with a white candle, a bell, a bowl of water and your name spoken over and over, and I call it home. On the third I settle it back in and seal the place it entered so that it stays.
This is deep, careful work and I do it over three full nights. Afterward people tell me they feel more here, more inside themselves. I write to you with everything I saw and did.
What I need from you
Your first name, what happened and roughly when, and how you have felt since. Write as much or as little as you are able to. A photo is optional.
